These are taken from the Illinois Jaycees General Assembly in Springfield, IL on May 19, 2001. In an effort to get our chapter, the Peoria Jaycees, more enthused and to acquire more attention within the state, we adopted a "Pimps & Prostitutes" theme for the awards banquet. We dressed the part after the dinner and then headed down to the banquet just before the awards ceremony. Once in the banquet room, everything seemed to stop and everyone gazed upon us.
We entered the room, with Randy (aka "Huggy Bear") in the lead. He had women on both sides of him as he stopped, looked around the room and then we proceeded to march around the tables and eventually stop at the podium at the back of the room. Later that night, we sold our women for $1 a dance, $2 for a photo and $5 if they wanted to be spanked. We raised $75 for Mission Inn, a hospice to help children suffering with HIV/AIDS.
