I had a chance to "entertain the troops" at the campfire at our campout.  I don't know how well it sounded from the looks of all those empty beer cans and bottles in the photo.  Can you guess who's Heineken bottle that was?

We found a bar with Beth's namesake in Stevens Point.  The establishment was closed as Beth looks in.

Illini Tailgate

No more than we got back from our trip in Galena, we turned around and headed to an Illini football game to tailgate with friends Brad & Mary.  Beth and I didn't have tickets for the game, nor did we care... we were there for the party.

From the "Is it wrong?" department...

While at the Illinois Jaycees general assembly, a local high school prom was taking place that same night.  Randy Stevens and I stopped for a quick photo.  It bears the question, is it wrong to two men to get a prom picture taken... even though they were not attending any prom whatsoever?

At the Illinois Jaycees state convention, I address an empty banquet room after the awards ceremonies are long over and the microphone was left on.  I also gave my rendition of the song, MacArthur's Park.

The Family Portrait!

Beth and I finally got a portrait of the family taken in December 2004.  This is one of the better pictures that came out of that photo shoot.

Poor Trixie though, she was terrified of climbing up the stairs and crossing the wood floor to get to the studio.  But she got a lot of treats for her troubles.

 

Beth and I at Shane & Julie's wedding in September.  This photo is a bit misleading as the flash must have been too much for a night time photo... I am not that grey!  Although, I do have a few of them.
